A-Listers Explore The Cold Science Of Body Sculpting At Clique
As part of The A-List experience, we took two of our dapper gentlemen to an aesthetic clinic. If first impressions create the strongest memories, then I’d say we placed them in very good hands. To refine and define their overall image, our A-List partner Clique Clinic recommended a revolutionary treatment called CoolSculpting, developed by Zeltiq, a US-based medical technology company. At Clique Clinic, both David Ng and Shahrin Bahar were treated to several sessions with this technology, conducted by the clinic's director Josh Chua. The process simply required them to sit on a sofa, pick out their favourite movies while the machine chilled fat tissues from problem areas. The brilliance of the CoolSculpting machines, of which Clique has two units, is that it injures fat cells, causing them to break up and be ejected from the body, at temperatures that would otherwise cause frost bite to the epidermis.
But as your mother warned you, if something sounds too good to be true, in this case, well... she was wrong. So we asked our men, who’ve subjected themselves to our A-Lister machinations purely by the goodness of their hearts, to share their personal and utterly unbiased feedback. Speaking to a room of August Man fans and several other guests, both David and Shahrin reported seeing and feeling the difference after just one treatment.
Then Clique's medical director Dr. Tingsong Lim shared in depth about the technology of CoolSculpting, the processes, costs and duration, before answering any questions. Guests were then invited to try it out for themselves. All in all, it was an excellent event and treatment, one that the boys wished they could continue long term. Unfortunately, signing up for A-Lister means there’s a tonne of new stuff they’re going to experience.
