What Happens When You Mix Art with Fashion Monograms?
The Kering Group, holding company of fashion labels such as Gucci and Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent Paris and Balenciaga, has been exploring the importance of allowing its brands to express themselves more freely in art and style. Saint Laurent has its music project going on, Bottega Veneta with its creative advertising campaigns that's now compiled into a book, and more recently Gucci had its No Longer / Not Yet exhibition in Shanghai.

Now, its young and hip creative director Alessandro Michele has come up with yet another digital art project, #GUCCIGRAM.
The series aims to expoit the new prints that Michele has injected into his upcoming Cruise season, Blooms and Caleido. Numerous artists have been invited to play with the prints and turn them into their own artworks, that are hosted on Gucci's microsite dedicated to the campaign, as well as online. It's a fun, entertaining series, some are provocative, many just hilarious.
