On Star Wars Day this year, as fans celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first ever Star Wars film, Star Wars: A New Hope, back in 1977, while anticipating the upcoming chapter, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, later this year, not to mention, the stand-alone Han Solo film after that… We have searched the galaxies near and far, far away, for some Star Wars-themed collectibles that will shake up a disturbance (the good kind) in the Force.

Star Wars Day: May The 4th Be With You Festival
It is not truly a celebration of the commemorative day if there are no festivals that you can patronise to get your “geekdom” on. So, if you have yet to make plans for Star Wars Day, you might want to swing by Singapore from today till 6 May, where a three-day Star Wars Day Festival is happening at Gardens by the Bay.
All kinds of fan activities will be taking place, as Chewbacca, Kylo Ren and even the iconic All-Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST Walker) make their special appearances at the festival. Come nightfall, fans are treated to a Garden Rhapsody which features a music and light show of the Star Wars original soundtracks amongst the SaberTrees at the Supertree Grove. Along with a thematic Silent Disco session, an outdoor screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and a night run, check out the full schedule of events here.
Last but definitely not the least, here is the teaser trailer (again) for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, in cinemas 15 December.
