A Tribute to the Maserati Quattroporte

Today marks the first day Maserati first opened its factory in Bologna, Italy, back in the year 1914. Since then, the car make has been through quite a ride, braving a war and rivals, and marching through victories. Through it all, Maserati has always been proud of its Quattroporte. Designed by Pietro Frua, it was a product inspired by the special 5000 GT that he designed in 1962 for a prince by the name Karim Aga Khan. First introduced in 1963, it was labelled as the world's fastest sedan, and people buy it. More than 50 years have passed, and still, it's hard for the Quattroporte to shake off any of its former glory. What it has become today is an evolution of the brand's most iconic creation, and Maserati is more than happy to share this with you.

Journey through its history at an exhibition held this month at the Maserati showroom (19 Leng Kee road), open daily from 10am to 6.30pm. For more information, ring them at 6836 1112.
