Dior Homme goes to the street with Larry Clark and #sneakerphilia
We love sneakers, almost as much as we love food. The sneaker of today is to menswear what the oxford was in the 18th and 19th century, at least in our opinion. So when Dior Homme presented a range of sneakers for the coming SS2017 season, we were more than thrilled.
But creative director Kris Van Assche wants us to take his sneakers seriously. So he partnered with cult American film maker Larry Clark to take his sneakers to the street. Coupled with a group of very well-dressed skateboarders, Clark captures the energy of today's youth street culture against the backdrop of old Parisian grandeur as they practice their moves against colossal monuments.
This isn't the first time Clark has worked with Dior Homme. Previously he was photographed by Willy Vanderperre for this season's fashion campaign.
Check out the video and don't miss out on these sneakers next season.
