In a New York Minute with Yuey Tan
The New York Minute once referred to the blinding pace at which New Yorkers lived their lives. Charles Tiffany, founder of the world-famous luxury house Tiffany & Co., understood the speed at which the city’s heart beat but at the same time, wanted to inspire appreciation for the significant moments and milestones in one’s life.
This ethos is something shared by the leading men we talked to recently. A penchant for going against the norm and excelling in their respective fields, these men embody the principles of Tiffany & Co. – a commitment to pushing boundaries and accomplishing their goals, one New York minute at a time.
Yuey Tan, 34
The idea of burning asphalt and blazing down tracks at breakneck speeds is just another day in the life of Yuey Tan. The defending Class B champion of the Porsche’s Carrera Cup Asia, Tan’s days are spent travelling the region, pushing the limits of speed. When he's not in one of his cars, he's on the tracks down at The Karting Arena, a business venture he set up not too long ago.
Tan shared with us about his love for the art of machine and man as well as some of his most significant moments on the track.
