Kilo at Pact

Tucked away in a menswear boutique on level two of Orchard Central is the perfect place to unwind on a weekend. Stylish, minimalistic and all things concrete, they don't serve your typical scrambled eggs and sky high stacks of pancakes. When you have enough of the usual bulls**t, Kilo offers tastier alternatives such as beef short ribs over rice or quinoa, as well as wasabi tuna tartare (above) and squid ink fettuccini. The Saturday and Sunday menus vary (hours too), so check them out here and make sure you call in advance to reserve a seat.

Oxwell & Co

One Saturday each month (let's hope they keep to it), Brit gastropub Oxwell & Co will host a free-flow brunch party, otherwise named the Oxwell Towers: Four Floors of Frolicks. Starting this February 27, enjoy a free flow selection of food and refreshing tipple (try killing fire with fire). Get your tickets at $95++ each, subsequent parties are on March 16 and April 23. Each party lasts from 1 to 4pm, a bonus for those who hate waking up.

Luxe Singapore

Come here if you fancy plenty of sunshine and stylish interior. Seated in Keong Saik territory, food at Luxe is simple Australian fare. With its menu directed by Chef Chui Lee Luk (the former chef-owner of the famed Claude's of Australia), you can't avoid the usual poached eggs or pork and fennel sausages. Prices are typical, you know, $20 on average. But hey, sometimes you got to loosen the purse strings a little.

Adrift by David Myers

MBS can be a pain to get to, but it's quite worth the effort tackling hangovers over a buffet of seafood and charcuterie. At $88++, enjoy a spread of slippery oysters (and more), table-side offerings and your choice of a main course. Get the wagyu burger or king crab and pimento cheese omelette. Flavours all around are Californian light, typical of David Myers, but if your head is throbbing that bad, we think this is the right road to recovery. If not, throw in an extra $70 for free flow booze and all drinks non-alcoholic.
